Your EU buyer pays on default emission values unless you give them verified figures from your own plant. Defaults carry a deliberate mark-up. This shows the gap.
Without a production route these figures are gross — before the free allocation adjustment an EU producer of the same good receives. The real obligation is lower, often much lower. Pick a route above for the net figure.
